The Seesteg — how to get there

By car
From the Rhineland/Ruhr region via the A3 towards Oberhausen and then the A2 towards Bottrop; take the A31 towards Emden (Emden Nord exit) and then follow the B210 and B70 to Norddeich. From Hanover, Hamburg, Bremen drive via Oldenburg on the A28 as far as the Leer junction, then towards Emden on the A31; take the Emden-Nord exit towards Norden/Norddeich.
In Norddeich you can either park your car in the Frisia Garages (Tel. 04931-98 70) or take it to the island by ferry. Ferry reservations for arrival are not necessary but definitely advisable for departure. Reception will be happy to assist you.

By rail
There are direct trains to the ferry terminal at Norddeich-Mole from Zürich, Luxemburg and all major cities in Germany.

By air
FLN Frisia Airlines operates charter flights. Taxi flights from Norddeich to Norderney can be booked by telephoning 04931-93 320. Direct flights from Hamburg to the island can be found at www.air-hamburg.de. Private jets up to 5.7 t may land at Norderney airport (landing strip length 1,000 metres) according to VFL.
